Growing up in South Florida, David became inspired by the innovative, creative genius of Walt Disney, which led him to study art, architecture, and construction management at the University of Florida. David co-founded DeAngelis Diamond and as CEO, drives the company’s culture, vision, strategy, and growth as well as leading the Innovation, Diversity & Inclusion, and DD Academy teams. A serial entrepreneur and angel investor, David cofounds and invests in innovative startup entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, New York City and South Florida, and is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist on entrepreneurship and angel investing. A restless traveler, David also brings aid and raises awareness of the global magnitude of human trafficking, the plight of refugees in Darfur, orphans in Sudan, Kenya, and the Favelas and in relationship building in the Caucuses of southern Russia.
John began his construction career bleeding orange and blue as a Florida Gator. He graduated from University of Florida with his Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction, which launched his 30 year career in the industry. John co-founded DeAngelis Diamond in 1996 in sunny Naples, where he grew up. John plays a vast role in establishing numerous successful companies in real estate, development, and various other industries. John, his wife Kelly and their family have participated in many Christian mission trips around China, Cambodia, Haiti and South America caring for orphans and fighting for women and children to avoid the plight of human trafficking. When he is not working on business or ministry, John enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Reggie grew up on a farm in Arkansas where he acquired his strong work ethic, sense of leadership and values. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (Go Warhawks!) and in 2005, joined the DD team. Reggie now serves as Chief Operating Officer. His secret to being successful is that you must always be flexible, trustworthy, and willing to take on challenges. In 2012, Reggie was featured in the annual 40 under 40 Gulfshore Business article. He enjoys the outdoors, sport fishing, and spending time with his wife, Brandi, of eighteen years, and their children Lilly, Landon and Lola.
Brett is a native to Naples, Florida, and serves as the Chief Innovation Officer. Throughout college and early 20’s, Brett spent much of his time building various businesses, while traveling across the country to learn from top tech leaders. In 2012, Brett and David Diamond (His father) launched Venture X, a sustainable luxurious office space designed with health and wellness in mind. The brand is now global with 120 locations open and under development. At 24, he was voted and featured in the annual 40 under 40 Gulfshore Business article in 2013. Brett enjoys time with his family and spends most of his money at Disney World.
Robert is an Auburn University graduate, with ten years of trade experience prior to returning to college. He has been with DD since 2010 and serves as the Executive Vice President/Principal of Program Management in Birmingham. He offers over twenty six years of construction experience and believes the key to his success in the construction industry is working with people and teams that are always striving to improve. He feels blessed to work for a company with such a faith oriented culture. He enjoys spending time with his lovely wife of twenty years and their two children. In his spare time, you will find him tinkering on cars and playing music.
Christian is a native of Massachusetts and a diehard Boston sports fan (Go Sox!). He attended Suffolk Law School and began his legal career as a trial attorney in Boston. Most recently, Christian served as in-house counsel for a construction company covering both New York and Boston regions. As DeAngelis Diamond’s General Counsel, Christian advises on contract negotiations and collaborates with operations and risk management. He also provides legal counsel on innovation, technology and data analytics. In his spare time, Christian plays golf and loves exploring Southwest Florida with his wife and twin daughters.
Originally from St. Louis, Grant launched his financial career after earning his MBA at the University of Missouri. After 28 years in the financial world of construction and at one point calling Egypt home, Grant decided to make a permanent move to his family’s favorite vacation spot in Florida (they will now need a new place to vacation) to join the DD team as CFO. When Grant isn’t spending time with his wife and two kids, he enjoys fishing, boating, water skiing, golfing and hunting.
Brian is originally from Knoxville, TN and a huge Vols football fan. He has been with DD for sixteen years and is the Vice President of Field Operations in Naples. He brings twenty three years of construction experience to the table. Prior to his career in construction, Brian was a police officer in Chattanooga. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and son.
Originally from Sweden, but with a passion for travel and to discover new cultures, Kaisa chose to continue her education in the US after graduating with a degree in Photo, Film and Art. Starting her career as a computer programmer, she quickly realized she was a right brained thinker and her true passion was in marketing and design. She is the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for DeAngelis Diamond and plays a major role in the company leading all marketing, advertising and public relations efforts. Kaisa has won multiple marketing awards, keeping the company on the forefront of design with her creative abilities. In her spare time she can be found spending time with her two children, traveling the world, or satisfying her inner “foodie” by trying out new restaurants.
Bryan leads the Preconstruction and Estimating efforts for all DeAngelis Diamond offices and is responsible for overseeing the department’s resources and practices. A proud native of ‘The Region’ (Northwest Indiana), Bryan is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a minor in Construction Management. After spending several years in the Chicagoland construction industry, he decided the winters were just too long and too cold and relocated to beautiful southwest Florida in 2006. Outside of the office, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife Corinne and sons Bryce and Jackson. When he isn’t busy coaching or attending either of his boy’s sporting events, he tries to find time for home improvement projects, fishing or his softball team.
David grew up in Northville, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. He moved to Florida in 2005. He started with DD as a field engineer and over the past eleven years has developed into one of the company’s strongest leaders. David is now Vice President and Division Manager of DD's Detroit office and oversees all commercial projects. He has fourteen years of construction experience. David enjoys spending time with his wife, Yelena, son, Michael and daughter, Mila. Some of his favorite hobbies include boating, fishing, and traveling.
A Tennessee native, Scott graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Engineering. He spent his first nine years working in various parts of the southeast, with the last six years in Florida, and is now the Division Manager of DD's Sarasota office. Scott and his wife Maria have been married for 12 years and have two wonderful children, whom he enjoys spending his free time doing anything outside (fishing, playing with the kids, biking, exploring), and watching UT football (Go Vols!). Scott is a strong advocate for foster care and adoption, and when he's not with his family or at work, you could find him at his church, volunteering at their local school, or giving back to the community.
Born in California and raised in Orlando, TJ has spent nearly his whole career in the Central Florida market. After graduating from the University of Florida, TJ helped manage the construction of an orphanage in rural Uganda which instilled a life-long passion for serving the underprivileged through his interests in construction. He loves spending time with his wife and 3 kids, and will never pass up water skiing, beach volleyball, or escaping to the mountains. When he’s not at the office or with his family, you can find TJ volunteering at his church or leading a construction relief project.
